Expert application FAQs
How applying works, what the assessments allow, and what happens after you pass. Ready to start? Choose your field.
How do I apply?
Choose your field on the application page and fill in one form. It takes about 20 minutes: your details first, then a short assessment with two written answers. No resume needed.
Can I use ChatGPT, Claude or other AI tools on the assessments?
No. Every assessment, ours and the partner platform's, must be your own work. Answers written with AI tools are rejected.
What happens after I pass?
For partner-platform projects, we email you a personal sign-up link to the platform where the work takes place. You create your account through that link and take its starter assessment in your field. Use only the link we send you, and do not share it: it is how your application is credited to Navaday.
How long is the partner platform's starter assessment? Can I take breaks?
Most people finish it in a few hours, and you can take breaks. You have over a week to submit it.
I already have an account on that platform. Can I still apply through Navaday?
If you created an account but never attempted a starter assessment, yes: sign up again through our link with a different email address. If you have already attempted a starter assessment there, you cannot take another one, and deleting your account does not change that.
Should I sign up with my Google account?
No. Choose sign-up with email. Signing in with Google can quietly attach you to an account you forgot you had, and then our link no longer works.
Can I use a VPN?
No. Turn your VPN off before you sign up and while you take the starter assessment, or it will not load.
Where can I work from?
Right now we place experts based in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Work is remote, and you choose the projects and hours that fit.
Who do I contact with questions?
For your Navaday application, email hello@navaday.ai. For account or payment issues on the partner platform, contact that platform's support team; we include the address in your sign-up email.
